Lease Sale Parcels
Maps showing the specific sale parcels, the list of lands, and the Shapefiles will be available at https://www.energynet.com/govt_listing.pl
Additional parcels nominated for oil and gas leasing by industry are currently undergoing land status review by the BLM Eastern States office and the Forest Service to determine federal mineral ownership and may be offered at future lease sales.
NOTE: While the total amount of federally-owned minerals on the Marietta Unit could exceed 40,000 acres, only nominated parcels (through EOIs) that are reviewed and approved by the BLM and Forest Service could be leased at future BLM Eastern States oil and gas lease sales for the purpose of potential oil and gas development. To date, the BLM has received over 50 EOIs nominating approximately 18,000 acres for potential leasing.
