Industry Expressions of Interest
This area provides information about expressions of interest on the Wayne National Forest. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are informal nominations by industry or the public that identify lands the BLM should consider for inclusion in future Oil and Gas Competitive Lease Sales. Submitting an EOI to the BLM does not guarantee that parcels will be offered at auction.
The table below contains the most current information provided by the BLM Eastern States Office about the EOIs, including the EOI number; date EOI was received; name of the submitter; location; Ranger District/Unit; and approximate acreage nominated. Note that prior to January 1, 2014, the nominator's name is confidential.
All nominated parcels must undergo a review process to determine surface and federal mineral ownership and identify stipulations that may be attached to lease parcels.
