On November 18, 2022, The Bureau of Land Management published a Notice of Intent (NOI) in the Federal Register, announcing that the BLM California Desert District Office will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Ivanpah-Control Transmission Line Project.
Publication of the NOI initiated the NEPA scoping process and opened a 45-day public comment period. The public comment period closed on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, 11:59 p.m. PST
