Oxy USA Inc. (Oxy) has filed or will file 16 Applications for Permit to Drill (APDs) with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Carlsbad Field Office (CFO) for the construction, operation, and final abandonment of 16 oil wells on four separate well pads with associated infrastructure for the Lion Oil 28-33 Federal Com 11H-16H, 21H-25H, and 31H-35H Oil Wells Project (Proposed Action, or project). Oxy’s objective is to safely and efficiently gather oil, natural gas, and produced water from the leases.
