February 2023

The BLM completed a Plan Evaluation to determine the status of plan implementation, conformance and monitoring.  The Plan Evaluation Report and Findings can be viewed by clicking on the "Documents" link in the left margin.  


Overview
This Resource Management Plan covers 456,600 acres of BLM administered public land in the northeast portion of the District in eight counties: Grant, Wheeler, Gilliam, Wasco, Sherman, Umatilla, Jefferson, and Morrow. About 442,000 acres are within the Central Oregon Resource Area of the Prineville District, and the other 14,000 acres are within the Baker Resource Area of the Vale District, but administered by the Prineville District.
