Project Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lakeview Field Office is proposing to install approximately 5.7 miles of a four-strand barbed wire fence within the Alkali Lake Common Pasture, Alkali Winter Allotment #1001, that will create an additional pasture to help improve livestock management and distribution. The installation of the fence will require clearing an up to10 feet wide path of vegetation along the fence line, resulting in a disturbance footprint of up to 6.9 acres. The fence design would follow BLM fencing guidelines (H-1741-1 - Fencing).
