March 02, 2026: The BLM has issued the Record of Decision (ROD) for the project. The ROD, FEIS and other supporting documentation can be found under the documents tab.

February 27, 2026: The BLM has issued the Final EIS analyzing the proposed action. A Record of Decision will be issued in the near future with the BLM's Decision regarding the alternatives analyzed in the Final EIS.

November 26, 2025: Due to the 43-day government shutdown, a request for an extension for publication of the Final EIS and issuance of the Record of Decision to early 2026 for this project has been requested. Eplanning will be updated accordingly pending the results of that request for extension.
May 19, 2025: The PVWS project will continue after receiving a request from Central Iron County Water Conservancy to continue the project and after the BLM receiving approval to extend the deadline of the Record of Decision (ROD). The expected publication of the Final EIS will be in Fall 2025.
May 04, 2023: PVWS project paused at the request of Central Iron County Water Conservancy District (CICWCD).
January 25, 2022: The public comment period has been extended until March 11, 2022.
January 6, 2022: The public comment period begins on January 7, 2022 and will be open until February 22, 2022. The DEIS and supporting documents are available in the Documents link on this website.
