What's New

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Applegate Field Office has issued a proposed decision on the Mount Dome Juniper Removal.  A copy of the Proposed Decision (Decision), finding of no significant impact (FONSI), and Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared and posted in the documents section of this page. 
 
A hard copy of the Decision, FONSI, and EA can be obtained at the Applegate Field Office upon request.  Please review the Decision, FONSI, and EA. Any interested public may protest this proposed decision within 30 days following its receipt (January 21, 2019). The protest may be submitted in person or in writing to the Applegate Field Office Manager, Bureau of Land Management, 702 West 12th Street Alturas, CA 96101.
 
In the absence of a protest, this proposed decision shall constitute a final decision without further notice unless otherwise provided for in the proposed decision.
