BLM will use the NEPA public participation process to satisfy the public involvement requirements under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) (54 U.S.C. § 306108) and pursuant to 36 CFR 800.2(d)(3).  The information about cultural resources within the area of potential affect for this undertaking will assist the BLM in identifying and evaluating effects/impacts to such resources in the context of both NEPA and Section 106 of the NHPA.

The BLM is soliciting scoping comments for the Range Creek Management Evaluation Report (MER). The 30 day Scoping Period for the MER is set to begin on 8/3/2026 and close on 9/2/2026. For your convenience, a Scoping Statement outlining the process and time for review of the Management Evaluation Report is included along with a copy of the 1993 Range Creek Herd Management Area Plan.
