BLM approved Eckley Exploration LLC's proposal to conduct exploration, prospecting, and identification of mineral deposits in Jefferson County within the Elkhorn Mountains Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC). The proposed Project Area will include approximately 0.25 acres of exploration-related disturbance and 2.5 miles of existing BLM roads.  The total area disturbed at any given time would be less than 0.25 acre. The company will be required to complete reclamation of any disturbed sites once exploration is complete. The proponent's complete plan of operations as well as the final environmental assessment, finding of no significant impact, and decision record are posted to the documents section.
