Project Description

The BLM, Safford Field Office, has examined and found suitable for classification for conveyance under the provisions of the R&PP Act, as amended, 280 acres of public land in the City of Safford, Graham County, Arizona. The City would use the land to expand the current landfill that is close to reaching operational capacity. The conveyance would allow the continuation of solid waste disposal for the communities of Graham County.
