What's New

The Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan Amendment for Wild Horse Management for the BLM Rock Springs and Rawlins Field Offices was signed on May 8, 2023.  The Record of Decision has been published under the "Documents" tab on this project website.

The BLM initiated a Rock Springs RMP revision in 2011 to develop new management actions for the entire field office and replace the 1997 Green River RMP.  As the BLM continued to expand the draft RMP revision, the wild horse amendment was prepared separately.
