Update

The BLM has re-opened the public comment period until 1am on Saturday, January 24, 2026 for the Lake Pleasant Herd Management Area Plan and Population Control Environmental Assessment (EA) due to features of ePlanning being down longer than anticipated during the ePlanning migration period. 

The public comment period is currently open for the Lake Pleasant Herd Management Area Plan and Population Control Environmental Assessment (EA). The public comment period will be open until January 21, 2026 which includes the ePlanning migration period from January 15-19, 2026 when the public will not be able to submit comments. During the January 15-19, 2026 ePlanning migration period - it will look like the comment period is either closed or unavailable. Starting January 20, 2026 - the public will once again be able to submit comments for this project.
