September 29, 2025: The BLM released the final environmental assessment, finding of no significant impact, and decision record on September 29, 2025. The documents can be found under the "Documents" tab to the left.

June 30, 2025: The BLM released the DRAFT environmental assessment on June 30, 2025 for a 30-day public comment period.

March 4, 2025: The Scoping Report was published to ePlanning on 3/4/2025.

October 11, 2024: The BLM has extended the scoping period until November 8, 2024. Comments may be submitted on ePlanning by clicking the green Participate Now button.

BLM will use the NEPA public participation process to satisfy the public involvement requirements under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) (54 U.S.C 306108) pursuant to 36 CFR 800.2(d)(3).  The information about historic and cultural resources within the area of potential effect for this undertaking will assist the BLM in identifying and evaluating impacts to such resources in the context of both NEPA and Section 106 of the NHPA.
