Public Scoping
The Notice of Intent (NOI) to begin public scoping on the Bridger Pipeline Expansion project has published in the Federal Register as of April 1, 2026. This will begin the 30-day public scoping and comment period in conjunction with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality comment period. BLM welcomes comments on the Plan of Development (POD) and all associated appendices (Appendix A-H). Specific public meeting details, including dates, times, and venue information can be found below.
BLM will only accept written comments during this scoping period either provided here in ePlanning, utilizing the Participate Now function or via mail to:

The BLM requests that the public submit written comments concerning the scope of the analysis, potential alternatives, and identification of relevant information and studies by May 1, 2026. To afford the BLM the opportunity to consider comments in the Draft EIS, please ensure your comments are received prior to the close of the 30-day scoping period or 15 days after the last public meeting, whichever is later. Comments may not be accepted after this date.
