Project Description

The purpose of the BLM’s action is to remove excess wild horses from within and outside the Complex consistent with the authority provided in 43 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 4700, restore and maintain a TNEB by maintaining wild horse populations within the established AML ranges for the HMAs, and to reduce wild horse population growth rates to extend the time between gather events.
