Project Description

The BLM is proposing to create approximately 755 acres of continuous shaded fuel break along existing BLM roads. The fuel break would treat BLM road numbers 29-2-4.0, 29-2-28, 29-3-11, 28-2-32, 28-3-26, 28-3-23, 28-4-34 and 30-2-3.1.

What's New

The BLM has completed the Decision Record and Categorical Exclusion for the 2025 South River Fuels Break. The 30-day Appeal Period will begin September 16, 2025.
