Project Description

Questar Gas Company dba Enbridge Gas Utah (Enbridge Gas Utah) would install approximately 2.6 miles of 6-inch diameter high pressure natural gas pipe from the FL048 FV-1503 Block Valve Station immediately south of the town of Stockton on the east side of SR-36 then heading west to the community of South Rim in Tooele County, Utah. The proposed natural gas pipeline would measure 15,077 feet (2.86 miles) in total length, with 1,577 feet (.3 miles) located on BLM-administered land. Construction would permanently disturb 1.06 acres of this land within a 30-foot-wide right-of-way (ROW). However, a temporary 50-foot-wide ROW would be required for construction, resulting in a disturbance of 1.83 acres. The permanent 30-foot-wide ROW would then serve as the maintenance zone for the 6-inch high-pressure natural gas pipeline.
