What's New

The BLM approved the Nanjemoy NRMA Land Unit Implementation Plan (LUIP) on September 28, 2005. Following the approval of the Lower Potomac Coordinated Management Plan (CMP) in September 2004, the BLM as well as the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Charles County began working with members of the public through a public meeting in January 2005 to identify locations and activities to discuss in the draft implementation plan. The draft implementation was developed from April to July 2005 and available for public review and comment from July to August 2005. Public feedback was incorporated and a final implementation plan was published in September 2005.
