The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public comments on the Bakersfield Field Office Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for oil and gas leasing and development.
The EPA published a Notice of Availability (NOA) on January 16, 2026. The public comment period will close March 13, 2026. A public meeting will be held on February 3, 2026. More information about the public meeting is included in the News Release.
