During April-May 2026 there is an effort to re-evaluate the existing NEPA analysis for the 2023 Campbell Creek Science Center Access Improvement Project Environmental Analysis (EA) to reconsider implementation of Alternative 2, the 55-vehicle south alternative. The purpose of the project remains the same, to increase parking capacity and enhance visitor safety and orientation through the construction of a new parking lot, orientation signage, pedestrian walkways, and emergency vehicle access near the CCSC building on the CCSC campus.
The public scoping period ended on April 24, 2022

The Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) public comment period ended February 10, 2023.
The BLM posted the final EA, Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), and Decision Record identifying the selected alternative on April 4, 2023.
