Project Description

The Bristlecone Field Office received an Exploration Plan of Operations for the Red Mountain Lithium Exploration Project from Needles Holdings, Inc. The Project is located on public lands administered by the BLM located approximately 56 miles southwest of Ely, Nevada, in Nye County. The purpose of the Plan is to conduct targeted drilling activities and collect information regarding economic lithium resources present within the Plan boundary. The Plan proposes approximately 35 acres of public lands surface disturbance associated with exploration drill sites, sumps, trenches, and access road construction for Phase 1, followed by approximately 65 acres of similar disturbance for subsequent phases.
