What's New

Final Environmental Assessment - March 3, 2026

The BLM signed and posted the Cedar Flat EA on ePlanning making it publicly available. The BLM is still preparing a FONSI and DR.

 

Public Comment - December 2025

The BLM opened a public comment period December 18, 2025, through January 25, 2026, to receive public input on the draft environmental assessment.

 

Scoping - January 2025

On January 22, 2025, BLM mailed out post cards to notify adjacent land owners of the public scoping period ending on February 21. BLM also posted a corresponding scoping letter and a rough draft of chapters 1 and 2 of the Environmental Assessment to further inform public scoping participants.
