December 28, 2023 - the public scoping period for the preliminary parcel list and applied stipulations for the proposed July 2024 lease sale will be open from December 28 - January 29, 2024. To the extent you submit exhibits or attachments to any submitted public comment, you must provide a summary of the attached documents, and explain why they are important for us to consider. If the submittal fails to include the requested summary, BLM may not consider any information in the exhibits or attachments during its decision-making process.

* An amendment (No. 1) was issued June 18, 2024 the 3rd Quarter Montana-Dakotas competitive oil and gas lease sale, originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2024, is moved to Tuesday, August 6, 2024. The sale begins at 8:00 am MDT/9:00 am CDT.
*Parcel numbers on newer documents have changed due to the changed sale date. For example: MT-2024-07-0270 has changed MT-2024-08-0270 to reflect the month of the sale.
*An amendment (No. 2) was issued July 24, 2024. Parcel ND-2024-08-0734 is deferred from the August (3rd Quarter) 2024 Competitive Oil and Gas Lease Sale.
*An amendment (No. 3) was issued August 1, 2024 in order to apply stipulation CSU 12-30 to parcel MT-2024-08-0270.
