NOW AVAILABLE: Proposed Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement

The Carlsbad Proposed Resource Management Plan (Proposed RMP) and Final Environmental Impact Statement (Final EIS) is now available under the “Documents” tab. 

CLOSED: 30-Day Protest Period (9/11/2026 - 10/13/2026)

On September 11, 2026, the Environmental Protection Agency published a Notice of Availability in the Federal Register to begin the 30-day protest period for the Proposed RMP and Final EIS.  The protest period ended October 13, 2026.
