March 11, 2024 - the public scoping period for the preliminary parcel list and applied stipulations for the proposed October 2024 lease sale will be open from March 11 - April 10, 2024. To the extent you submit exhibits or attachments to any submitted public comment, you must provide a summary of the attached documents, and explain why they are important for us to consider. If the submittal fails to include the requested summary, BLM may not consider any information in the exhibits or attachments during its decision-making process.

Listed below is the tentative timeline for the Montana-Dakotas Oil and Gas Lease Sale. All documents associated with this Lease Sale are posted under the documents link on the left hand side of your screen.

*An Amendment (No.1) was issued August 19, 2024 to the 4th Quarter Montana-Dakotas competitive oil and gas lease sale for offering 20 parcels containing 3,173.41 acres. (1st paragraph of the Final Sale Notice.)
*An Amendment (No. 2) was issued September 11, 2024 to the 4th Quarter Montana-Dakotas competitive oil and gas lease sale for offering 20 parcels. Statistics for ND-2024-10-0233 and ND-2024-10-0234 have been amended. (Appendix A under Amendments is most recent version.)
