A public comment period was held from Wednesday, July 12 of 2023 to Friday, August 11 of 2023. The BLM is in the process of reviewing comments received and preparing the final EA.
A public scoping period was held from February 4 through February 19, 2021.

BLM
will use the NEPA public participation process to satisfy the public
involvement requirements under Section 106 of the National Historic
Preservation Act (NHPA) (54 U.S.C. § 306108) and pursuant to 36 C F R
800.2(d)(3). The information about cultural resources within the area
potential affect for this undertaking will assist the BLM in identifying and
evaluating effects/impacts to such resources in the context of both NEPA and
Section 106 of the NHPA.
