It is the mission of the Bureau of Land Management to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. Listed below is the tentative timeline for the September 22, 2020 Oil and Gas Lease Sale.
All documents associated with this Lease Sale are posted under the documents link on the left hand side of your screen.
The GIS data and parcel maps are posted under the Maps and Data link on the left hand side of your screen.
To submit comments electronically through this site click on the documents link and then click on the
"Comment on Document" button on the right hand side of the screen.
The 'Comment' and 'Protest' buttons will be available only during open submission periods.
**NOTE: Five lease parcels have been removed from the lease sale since the 15 day scoping period:

During scoping, the BLM received comments requesting that these parcels be removed from analysis, or that an alternative would be analyzed that removed these parcels. The BLM contacted the original nominators that submitted expressions of interest on the five parcels; Of the five, four withdrew their nominations and the fifth could not be reached. Based on comments received and the withdrawn nominations, the BLM eliminated the alternative that included the five respective parcels from consideration in this assessment. The shapefile data, Appendix A, and the EA have been updated to reflect this change.
**IMPORTANT**
Due to website maintenence June 5 and 6, the public will not be able to post comments to this project website. We have extended the comment period by two days to compensate for the downtime. Comments will now be accepted through June 26, 2020.
