8/25/2026: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has issued a decsion regarding the Proposed Action to offer the approximatley 2.97-acre parcel for non-competitive direct sale.
The following documents have now been posted to the ePlanning webpage and can be accessed under the "Documents" tab:
- Environmental Assessment (EA)
- Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI)
- Decsion Record (DR)
In addition, Form 1842-001 has been included. This form provides important information on appealing decsions to the Interior Board of Land Appeals (IBLA) and explains the steps and timelines required.
08/11/2026: The Public Land Order (PLO) was published in the Federal Register Notice, this PLO revoked the withdrawal created by Executive Order dated November 22, 1875, relinquishing the approximaty 2.97 acres back to BLM managment. 06/01/2026: The BLM has released a Notice of Realty Action (NORA) for the proposed non-competitive direct sale of approximately 2.97 acres of public land in Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
