New – The Montana/Dakotas September Oil and Gas Lease Sale 30-day Public Comment period is open from May 26 – June 26. Included in the MAPS section are interactive USFS stipulation maps, along with the GIS data for all parcels. The USFS maps will have to be downloaded or opened in the Adobe App for full interactive functionality.  Note* None of the parcels moving forward on this sale have been submitted anonymously.  See Appendix J for the dates of nomination and the nominator identification.  The unsigned FONSI has information about processes and compliance with BLM guidance.

March 31, 2023 - The public scoping period for the preliminary parcel list and applied stipulations for the proposed September 2023 lease sale will be open from March 31 - May 1, 2023.

To the extent you submit exhibits or attachments to any submitted public comment, you must provide a summary of the attached documents, and explain why they are important for us to consider. If the submittal fails to include the requested summary, BLM may not consider any information in the exhibits or attachments during its decision-making process.
