What's New

Background
The 1993 Redding Resource Management Plan identifies the management direction for all public lands and federal mineral estate administered by the Bureau of Land Management within the former Redding Resource Area, currently the "Redding Field Office". This includes approximately 247,000-acres of public lands and 142,000-acres of federal mineral estate within Butte, Tehama, Shasta, Trinity, and Siskiyou counties in northern California.  


The Redding Field Office has developed a new Resource Management Plan, called the "Northwest California Integrated Resource Management Plan", which when completed would replace the existing 1993 Redding RMP.
