How to Get Involved

6/18/2026: The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has released the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Trail Canyon Travel Management Plan (TMP) and opened a 30‑day public comment period.

 

The BLM is requesting review and feedback from interested and affected parties. Your comments will help identify issues, refine alternatives, and improve the analysis.

 

Public Meeting

Date: July 9, 2026

Time: 6:00–8:00 p.m.

Location: Kanab Center, 20 N 100 E, Kanab, UT 84741

The meeting will include a brief presentation, followed by an open‑house session where the interdisciplinary team will be available to answer questions.

 

Accessing the Draft EA

Visit the Documents tab on the project’s ePlanning site to view or download the full Draft EA and the comment form.

 

How to Submit Comments (Due July 22, 2026)

Written comments must be received by July 22, 2026. The most helpful comments provide specific, relevant information that can meaningfully inform the analysis or shape the range of alternatives. Comments may be submitted via the ePlanning Project Page (this website) by clicking on the “Documents” tab. During the 30 day comment period there will be a column titled “Participate”, click on the “Participate Now” link and follow the instructions.
