The BLM held a 30-day public comment period on the April 2021 version of the EA that opened on April 21, 2021 and closed on May 21, 2021. The BLM updated the EA in response to public comments and made the updated EA available for a 15-day comment period that opened on June 25, 2021 and closed on July 9, 2021. The BLM hosted a virtual public meeting on June 25, 2021, to kick off the second comment period, and another meeting on July 7, 2021.
