Past Meetings

 August 24, 2016 Open House
The Bureau of Land Management Rock Springs Field Office (RSFO) held a public open house on the Rock Springs RMP revision on August 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the BLM office, 280 Highway 191 North, Rock Springs, WY. The slide loop playing at the August 24 open house has been posted to the documents portion of this site.

Scoping
Public scoping meetings were held in the following locations:

February 28, 2011: Best Western, The Inn at Lander, 260 Grand View Drive, Lander, Wyoming
March 1, 2011: White Mountain Library, 2935 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming
March 2, 2011: Lyman Town Hall Courtroom, 100 East Sage Street, Lyman, Wyoming
March 3, 2011: Farson Branch Library, 30 Highway 28 East, Farson, Wyoming

The scoping meetings were held from 4-7 p.m. Several information stations were set up at the open house meetings where BLM specialists presented information on key issues and the planning process. Attendees were able to ask questions and provide written comments. A court reporter was available to document oral comments.

Comprehensive Travel and Transportation Management Plan (CTTMP) Public Outreach
Public outreach meetings were held in the following locations:

November 13, 2012: Holiday Inn, 1675 Sunset Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming
November 14, 2012: Lyman Town Hall Courtroom, 100 East Sage Street, Lyman, Wyoming
November 15, 2012: Eden Valley Community Center, 4039 Highway 191 North, Farson, Wyoming

The public outreach meetings were held from 4-6:30 p.m. Several information stations were set up at the open house meetings where BLM specialists presented information on key issues and the planning process. Attendees were able to ask questions and provide written comments.

Workshops
A socioeconomic strategies workshop was held at the following location:

January 9, 2012: Holiday Inn, 1675 Sunset Drive, Rock Springs, Wyoming

The workshop was held from 6-8:30 p.m. and included a review of historical and current local and regional social and economic conditions and how BLM-administered lands relate to and influence these conditions.
 
Extended Scoping on Wild Horse Management
Public outreach meetings were held in the following locations:

September 11, 2013: Rock Springs Field Office, 280 Highway 191 N., Rock Springs, Wyoming
September 12, 2013: Rawlins Field Office, 1300 N. Third St., Rawlins, Wyoming

The public outreach meetings were held from 4-7:00 p.m. Several information stations were set up at the open house meetings where BLM specialists presented information on key issues and the planning process. Attendees were able to ask questions and provide written comments.
