How to Get Involved
The Lease sale has been postponed to February 2016.
The August/November 2015 Notice of Competitive Lease Sale (NCLS) protest period closes January 11, 2016. The public comment period on the EA closed on April 27, 2015. The protest period is regarding the NCLS and its corresponding parcel list.
Written protests may be mailed, hand carried or faxed (801)539-4237 to the BLM Utah State Office, attention Sheri Wysong by 4:30 on January 11, 2016. Specific instructions for filing a protest are contained within the NCLS. The NCLS is available online at BLM Utah's oil and gas leasing webpage (http://www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/prog/energy/oil_and_gas_lease.html) and in the BLM Utah State Office's public room located 440 West 200 South, Suite 500, Salt Lake City, Utah. Emailed protests are not acceptable.
How to get Involved
30 day public comment period ends on April 27, 2015. Written comments may be mailed to the Fillmore Field Office, Attn: Cindy Ledbetter, 95 East 500 North Fillmore, UT 84631; or by fax to 435-743-3135.
Electronic comments may be submitted to [email protected]. Please refer to the "August 2015 Oil and Gas Lease Sale" in the subject line of your correspondence. To be most helpful, your comments should be submitted before the close of the comment period. Before including your address, phone number, email address, or other personal identifying information in your comment, you should be aware that your entire comment -including your personal identifying information- may be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask us in your comment to withhold your personal identifying information from public review, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
