BLM is seeking input on the establishment of a new categorical exclusion (CX) for Geothermal Resource Confirmation. This would categorically exclude from further environmental analysis the operation plan that approves no more than 20 acres of disturbance associated with geothermal resource confirmation.

The public comment period for this new categorical exclusion is from 10/22/2024 through 11/21/2024. Comments must be postmarked (for mailed comments), delivered (for personal or messenger delivery comments), or filed (for electronic comments) no later than 11/21/2024
