Project Name: Lakeview Resource Management Plan

Documents

The Lakeview Resource Management Plan and Record of Decision (RMP/ROD) was completed in November 2003.  It contains a comprehensive set of desired future conditions, management goals, and management direction for all existing resources and multiple uses within the planning area including air, water and watershed, soils, plant communities, noxious weeds, fish and aquatic habitat, wildlife and wildlife habitat, special status species, special management areas, cultural and historic resources, visual resources, wild horses, livestock grazing, lands, energy, minerals, fire, recreation, roads and transportation, off-highway (motorized) vehicle use, and hazardous materials.

Since completing the plan, plan maintenance has been conducted in accordance with 43 CFR 1610.6-5 and the BLM Land Use Planning Handbook 1601, Chapter VI (H). Plan maintenance includes correcting minor data, typographical, mapping, or tabular data errors in the planning records after a land use plan or plan amendment has been completed.  Maintenance is limited to refining, documenting, or clarifying a previously approved decision. In addition, plan maintenance is a continual process that reflects the current status of decision implementation.  Plan maintenance does not require formal public involvement, interagency coordination, or NEPA analysis. Plan maintenance simply must be documented so that specific changes and responsible official concurrence are evident.  Plan maintenance documentation is included here to assist the public in better understanding of the land use plan direction and implementation status.
