The Bureau of Land Management published a Notice of Intent (see documents below under “Scoping Documents”) announcing the scoping period to solicit public comments and identify issues, provide the planning criteria for public review, seek nominations for the designation of areas of critical environmental concern (ACECs), and for comments on other land use designations. This notice of intent initiated the scoping period and public review of the planning criteria, which guide the development and analysis of the Draft RMP/EIS. The scoping period closed on March 23, 2026.
