The BLM has recently completed a Proposed RMP Amendment and Final EIS and made the document available for a 30-day protest period.
The BLM previously completed a Draft RMP Amendment and Draft EIS and made it available for a 90-day comment period in June 2024.
As part of this RMP Amendment process, the BLM completed an update of its wilderness characteristics inventory for the Lakeview planning area. These inventory findings are available at https://www.blm.gov/programs/planning-and-nepa/plans-in-development/oregon-washington/lakeview-wci.
In addition, the BLM has posted its current rangeland health assessments for all grazed allotments within the Lakeview planning area. These assessments are available at
