Publication of a Notice of Availability for the Record of Decision in the Federal Register was published October 22, 2024. The Record of Decision (ROD) for the Approved RMPA was signed on October 17, 2024. The approval plan and decision are available below.

A Notice of Availability to amend BLM Colorado Resource Management Plans regarding big game conservation was published November 9, 2023, which began a 90-day public comment and review period on the draft Resource Management Plan Amendment and associated Environmental Impact Statement (RMPA/EIS). A 45-day public scoping period was held beginning July 19, 2022 following release of a Notice of Intent.
