The BLM has updated the Environmental Assessment (EA) based on public comments received. The EA and draft Finding of No Significant Impact for the 2026 Competitve Oil & Gas Lease Sale can be found below.

The Nevada State Office will post a Sale Notice on October 9, which starts the Notice of Competitive Lease Sale (NCLS) and 30-day protest period, ending on Nobember 9, 2026.
