The Public Protest period for the 2025 First Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on December 17, 2024, and ended on January 16, 2025.

The Public Comment period for the 2025 First Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on October 4, 2024, and ended on November 4, 2024. 

The Public Scoping period for the 2025 First Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on July 18, 2024, and ended on August 19, 2024.
