The Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale is scheduled to begin on September 6, 2023 at 8:00 am MST.

BLM Wyoming inadvertently omitted analysis on Public Health and Safety (EA Sections 3.7 and 4.6) and Air Quality (EA Section 4.1) in the draft EA.  A corrected version of the EA was added at 4:45 pm on June 29, 2023. A new version of the EA is noted with "_Corrected" in the file name.  Based on these updates BLM Wyoming is reposting and providing a 30-day protest period. The protest period will close on July 31, 2023.

Errors were identified in the 2023 Third Quarter Sale Notice. Please see Information Notice 2 and the new version of the 2023 Third Quarter Sale Notice noted with "_Corrected" in the file name.

Public Protest Period for the 2023 Third Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on June 16, 2023, and ended on July 31, 2023. 

Public Comment period for the 2023 Third Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on March 10, 2023, and ended on April 10, 2023. 

Public Scoping period for the 2023 Third Quarter Competitive Oil & Gas Lease Sale began on December 20, 2022, and ended on January 19, 2023.
