The BLM is proud to announce the availability of the Lewistown Greater Sage-Grouse Approved Resource Management Plan Amendment (RMP Amendment) and Record of Decision for the Rocky Mountain Region (ROD). To view these documents, click on "Documents & Reports on the left side of the screen.

Rocky Mountain Region National Greater Sage-Grouse Planning Strategy

For the purposes of this planning effort, the Rocky Mountain Region is divided into several sub-regions: Montana/Dakotas; Wyoming; Northwest Colorado; and Utah. Each sub-region has specific Approved RMPs or RMP Amendments that cover its geographic area. Only RMPs that cover planning areas containing sagebrush habitat were included for amendment (or plan revisions). The Record of Decision (ROD) for the Rocky Mountain Region covers all RMPs and RMP Amendments for this region.

Montana/Dakotas Sub Region

The Montana/Dakotas Sub Region encompasses the planning efforts for the HiLine District, Billings Field Office, North Dakota Greater Sage-Grouse planning area, Miles City Field Office, South Dakota Field Office, and this Lewistown Greater Sage-Grouse planning area.
