The Mt. Hood National Forest and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Northwest Oregon District Cascades Field Office have completed a final comprehensive river management plan and Environmental Assessment (EA) for nine rivers as part of the Wild and Scenic River Planning project. As such, the BLM is releasing an unsigned Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for your review. The Forest Service is the lead agency for this project and the BLM is a cooperating agency. Of the nine rivers, the South Fork Clackamas Wild and Scenic River corridor is the only river corridor that includes both National Forest System and BLM-administered lands. This unsigned FONSI only covers the implementation of the management plan on BLM-administered lands. The EA, comprehensive river management plan, and Unsigned FONSI are available below.
