Public Comment - December 2025

The BLM opened a public comment period December 18, 2025, through January 25, 2026, to receive public input on the environmental assessment (See "Participation Periods" on the left side of this page).

Please note: The BLM is launching an updated version of our NEPA Register in early 2026. From January 16 - 19, interested parties will not be able to submit EA comments for the Cedar Flats EA through the ePlanning project page. The new ePlanning portal will launch on January 20 and interested parties will once again be able to submit comments through the NEPA Register at that time. During the four-day blackout period, interested parties can still submit comments via email at [email protected] and through the mail.

Scoping - January 2025

On January 22, 2025, BLM mailed out post cards to notify adjacent land owners of the public scoping period ending on February 21. BLM also posted a corresponding scoping letter and a rough draft of chapters 1 and 2 of the Environmental Assessment to further inform public scoping participants.
