Please note (02/08/2108):

An error was identified in the Final EIS GIS datasets for White Mountain trails data Alt. E.  New files have been posted below, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note (12/16/2016):
Datasets used for the ROD Maps did not change from the Proposed RMP/Final EIS data posted below with 2 exceptions:

1) The Upper Black River Planning Area name was changed to the Draanjik Planning Area to reflect an official Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) name change to the river's name in the Gwich'in language.
2) Restoration and Conservation watersheds were updated to reflect changes in NHD codes.  Two shapefiles are posted with the "Final RMP Data" below.

Please note (9/28/2016): An error was identified in the attributes of "ACEC_Alt E" and  "caribou_sheep_habitat_altE" datasets.  They have been replaced as of 9/28/2016.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

GIS data
created by the BLM as part of the Eastern Interior Proposed RMP/Final EIS is available below as a geodatabase and as multiple shapefiles. These datasets include the land status dataset used in the EIS and all datasets displaying the planning alternatives for the different topics addressed in the document.

Layer files for datasets with complex symbology are also below.  Layer files will need to be repointed to the data once you have data downloaded to your local working area.

Problems with or questions about the GIS data available for download can be directed to the GIS specialist at: (907) 474-2200.

BLM corporate datasets that are created statewide (including Federal Mining Claims, PLSS townships and sections) are available for download at the BLM-Alaska's Spatial Data Management website: http://sdms.ak.blm.gov/isdms/imf.jsp?site=sdms

Datasets used from other sources are not being re-distributed on this website.
