August 24, 2016 Open House
The Bureau of Land Management Rock Springs Field Office (RSFO) held a public open house on the Rock Springs RMP revision on August 24, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the BLM office, 280 Highway 191 North, Rock Springs, WY. The slide loop playing at the August 24 open house has been posted to the documents portion of this site.
Scoping
Public scoping meetings were held in the following locations:
The scoping meetings were held from 4-7 p.m. Several information stations were set up at the open house meetings where BLM specialists presented information on key issues and the planning process. Attendees were able to ask questions and provide written comments. A court reporter was available to document oral comments.

Comprehensive Travel and Transportation Management Plan (CTTMP) Public Outreach

A socioeconomic strategies workshop was held at the following location:
The workshop was held from 6-8:30 p.m. and included a review of historical and current local and regional social and economic conditions and how BLM-administered lands relate to and influence these conditions.
