All visitors would access the ranch from the east on the existing Walking Box Ranch Road (accessible from Nevada State Highway 164) into the primary parking lot. Minor ranch entry road improvements would include partial paving and additional signage on Walking Box Road near the highway (Figure 2.2, “Thematic Development Details”2 and Figure 2.3, “Thematic Development Details (cont)”). These improvements would be located in the Nevada Department of Transportation’s highway right-of-way and would likely be subject to further environmental review by the state prior to implementation.
