The Spanish Point Karst area would be designated an ACEC with the same management under all alternatives, and impacts to the ACEC would be the same under all alternatives. Restrictions on resource uses in the ACEC would provide a beneficial impact to and protect the cave and karst system, important aquifer recharge zone, sinking stream segments, and the groundwater quantity and quality values of concern, but would result in adverse impacts to the restricted resource uses.
